Dr. Andrew Decort
Andrew earned his Ph.D. in Theological Ethics at the University of Chicago Divinity School. For the last three years, Andrew has served as lead professor for the Authority, Action, Ethics: Ethiopia Program at Wheaton College. His dissertation Bonhoeffer’s Beginning: Universal Entry, the Problem of Morality, and the Ethics of New Beginning has been accepted for publication at Fortress Press in the Emerging Scholars series. Andrew edited and wrote the Foreword to Professor Donald Levine’s Interpreting Ethiopia: Observations of Five Decades (Tsehai Press, 2014) and is the author of “Authority, Martyrdom, and the Question of Axiality in Ethiopian Political Theology” (under revision for the Journal of Ethiopian Religious Studies). Andrew now serves on the faculty of the Ethiopian Graduate School of Theology and promotes the work of ICCG in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia with his wife Lily Atlaw DeCort.
Dr. Steve Ivester
Dr. Ivester serves as Dean of Student Engagement at Wheaton College in Chicago, Illinois, and serves on the ICCG Board of Directors.
Joe works as a management consultant in Chicago, Illinois, and serves on the ICCG Board of Directors.
Professor William Schweiker
Dr. Schweiker is the Edward L. Ryerson Distinguished Service Professor of Theological Ethics at the University of Chicago, and currently serves on the ICCG Board of Directors in addition to his role as the ICCG Academic Advisor.
